WILDSEED Farm and Healing Village

WILDSEED Community Farm and Healing Village is a liberated zone for Black, Indigenous, and other people of the global majority to practice interdependence and sovereignty together. Situated on 181 acres of land and water in the mid-Hudson Valley, we are a collective of people committed to stewarding this incredible resource as a permanent safe space for the sustenance of our movement community, and a site of belonging for people historically disenfranchised from land. We provide Black farmers and herbalists with no-cost access to prime agricultural land, and connect our communities to nature through experiences including hiking, camping, medicine workshops, healing circles, and artist residencies. Our central undertaking is to collaborate with land, water and ecology to design resilience, cultivate interdependence, and uphold intergenerational responsibility. We intend WILDSEED to serve as a sanctuary for humans to commune with nature, have direct connection to the resources that sustain us, and foster a deep sense of belonging to the earth.
