Voces Unidas

Voces Unidas works on cultural and narrative strategies to create liberation, build peace futures and heal the land of the US/Mexico border. The group focuses on re-indigenizing and re-matriating how people relate to the earth. Processes include community ceremonies, ancestral storytelling practices, experiments in alternative economies and de-colonial community development. Voces Unidas imagines a future where all beings are free, movement of all beings is liberated and decision making is governed by collective prioritization of peace. In this world, communities live in dialogue with the earth, borders move like water and humans remember their responsibility as stewards of collective wellbeing. There is an end to violence and suffering.
