The Gullah Geechee Herbal Gathering
The Gullah Geechee Herbal Gathering is an annual herbal conference that takes place in SC for Black and Indigenous herbalists, healers, spiritualists, farmers, to come and converge to educate, learn, network and heal together. The conference is the ancestral assignment of its founder Khetnu Nefer, owner of A Soulful Touch Wellness, a mobile holistic health and wellness practice for women located in Washington, DC. We want attendees to get grounded in their herbal practice through education, fellowship, community and nature. This conference not only seeks to educate but to advocate for the conservation and preservation of the Gullah Geechee herbal culture, but the bioregional ecology as well.
