Tashina Bowman

Tashina Bowman is a Black doula and midwifery student living and working in Western Massachusetts. She is passionate about supporting education and certification of Black birthworkers. As many are already aware, Black doulas and midwives are both essential and imperiled. They are on the front line in preventing maternal and infant death in the Black community. The pandemic and the recent protests amplify and highlight the changes needed to create a world that holds every Black body beloved.
