Sweet Freedom Farm

We are a Black-led abolitionist farm growing and distributing vegetables, grain, herbs, medicines, and maple syrup for the folks in our community most affected by incarceration. We train new BIPOC farmers, hold Abolition & Waffles gatherings, are positioning to hire formerly incarcerated adults, and are developing as a host site for youth in alternative-to-incarceration programs. We hold our farming and growing training in the context of an abolitionist framework that drives our crop variety choices, our investment in rewilding, landrace seed work, and the focus on freedom sugars: Apple and Maple Syrup.
