Proving Ground
Proving Ground is a feature-length human rights documentary film that has received post-production funding from Kindle Project.
The film follows filmmaker Adam J. Horowitz as he returns to the Marshall Islands after twenty years. There, amidst an escalating high-stakes battle over the future of a crucial U.S. ‘Star Wars’ missile-defense test site, he uncovers shocking new evidence of top-secret U.S. government Cold War human radiation experiments on local islanders.
Under contract for broadcast by PBS, Proving Ground will also be distributed internationally via broadcast, film festivals, the Internet, home video and theatrical release. Our Kindle Project grant is being used for post-production work such as rough and fine cut editing, archival research and acquisition, sound mixing and on-line editing.
