Nkoula Badila

I am the founder of a homegrown movement called Grow Black Hudson, born at the peak of the pandemic. I do work to build knowledge around food sovereignty to the Black and Brown community in Hudson, NY. I redistribute local organic plants to Black and Brown communities, and educate them on how to grow their own food. We give attention to this community that is often left out of accessing fresh food, healthy alternatives, and our Ancestors’ knowledge of the land. In doing this work we reclaim our Ancestral wisdom.
