Kharyshi Wiginton

I’m an interdisciplinary artist with over 30 years of training and performance experience who uses her art, skills, and talents to impact the world by raising the collective self-esteem of girls/women, people of African ancestry, and youth. I seek to inspire, empower, educate, challenge norms, and further larger conversations about body, race, and gender oppression. In addition to working on a creative non-fiction book and several children’s books, I’m producing a multidisciplinary solo show, “Too Much Woman 4 This World,” about identity and what it means to be “Too Much” in a world that says she’s not enough.
