For the past 3 years, food sovereignty has been my mission and calling. I have been studying all that it takes to have a farm that grows produce and a space to educate the community on how to live a self-sustainable lifestyle. I have started a sole-proprietary business called J&M’s Green Gateway, and am starting to grow produce in a small space to sell it. The dilemma is that I need more space to grow more food, and this grant will give me the start that I need.
