Indigenous Alliance Without Borders / Alianza Indigena Sin Fronteras

The Alianza Indígena Sin Fronteras is an intertribal organization with members from 30 Indigenous nations, including peoples who have been divided by the U.S.-Mexico border. It advocates for Indigenous rights to self-determination, collective human and civil rights, the rights of sovereignty and internationally recognized rights of mobility, and the protection of sacred sites. One of its projects, the Indigenous Languages Office, provides direct services to migrants in Tucson shelters, makes referrals for Indigenous families in migration to the US interior, assists select Indigenous migrants in shelters in Northern Sonoran border towns, and conducts research and policy on both sides of the US-México border on climate impacts and migration.
