Grassroots Leadership

Grassroots Leadership is a nationally recognized civil and human rights organization based in Austin, Texas. We work for a more just society where prison profiteering, mass incarceration, deportation, and criminalization are things of the past. Every day, Grassroots Leadership’s staff and members build power in communities, change the policies and practices that lead to mass incarceration and deportation, and build communities that are safe and where people have agency over their lives.
