Anastasia Morton
I’ve worked in the Amherst Regional Public School(ARPS) Family Center as the Youth Leadership Coordinator. In this position I’ve worked habitually to establish the Youth Culture Initiative(YCI). The project helps to provide young scholars with opportunities to enhance their leadership skills through:
- Dialogue which critically explore racial complexities, and the intersection with personal identities.
- Exploring institutionalized structures which promote and sustain economic and academic inequities.
Since 2013; I’ve worked with numerous age groups across the district; including Teachers, College, High School, Middle School, and Elementary school students. Providing students with opportunities to grow, is what I strive to do.
